30th Birthday Gift Ideas

30th Birthday Gift Ideas | 30 Gifts for 30 Years
We just celebrated my husband, Shehab’s 30th birthday! He’s officially old! We don’t typically make birthdays a big deal but his 30th caused for a little celebration. I decided to do 30 gifts for 30 years but didn’t realize how difficult it would be to figure out 30 gifts for a GUY! I mean I can barely think of one decent gift that isn’t athletic gear. In addition to the 30 gifts, I wanted to do a little decoration with a ton of balloons. To be honest, this part was mostly for me and for our almost 2 year old. She was so excited to see all those balloons on the wall. She came down the stairs yelling “wowww boooon!” I stayed up till 2 am blowing and putting up the balloons but it was so worth it!
This idea could have easily gotten out of hand but I got most of the items for less than $5. Some of the most expensive items went up to only $20. I got a mix of some funny items like a Tide to go stain remover since he’s always complaining about stains on his clothes.I also got some functional things like office supplies for his home office. I wrapped everything in the same wrapping paper I picked up from the dollar store and numbered it 1-30. I thought about spreading it out all over the house and making it a scavenger hunt but I don’t have that kind of time.
Some gift ideas included:
- Tide to go stain remover
- Wet wipes
- Razor blades
- Mini hand lotion
- Gum
- Bath Towel
- Bath salts
- Blackhead nose strips
- Socks
- Ground coffee
- “Best Dad Ever” mug
- Toddler soccer ball (so he can start training Hoda)
- Bar soap
- Sticky notes
- Pens
- Dry erase board (for his office)
- Snacks (protein bars, chocolate etc)
- Phone charger
I think I deserve a couple of passes now in the gift department. I’ll be out of commission until his 40th birthday.
