Chocolate Date Energy Balls

Chocolate Date Energy Balls

We recently got a good amount of snow in the middle of the week and when I’m stuck at home, all I want to do is either sleep all day or bake something delicious. I chose the latter.

My mom recently made a version of date balls with a ton of dried fruits and nuts which was so good! I wanted to replicate it but add whatever I had at home and so I came up with these chocolate date energy balls!

These no-bake date balls can be made in under 10 minute and don’t require too many ingredients you wouldn’t already have at home. You can always adjust the recipe to add other nuts, dried fruit or dried seeds.

Chocolate Date Energy Balls

Ingredients:
– 1 cup dates
– 1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup pecans
-1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp hemp seeds
2 tsp flax seeds milled
1 tsp cacao powder
2 tsp honey
3 tbsp water

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except water into a food processor
2. Once in the food processor, blend and add water slowly until it gives off a dough like texture.
3. Make 1 inch balls and set aside
4. Refrigerate for 30 min to 1 hour and enjoy!
