Quarantine Week 1 in Photos

Since I have a smidge of extra time on my hands quarantining, I thought I’d do a little life update on a weekly basis because why not? While trying to juggle my full time job from home, full time babysitting a preschooler and an infant and all the things, it’s safe to say life is busier than usual but we’ve also had a lot of time on the weekends for activities and home updates.

When this is all over, we will look back and remember the times life was slow and how we were forced to spend lots of time (maybe too much time) with each other.

We did lots and lots of reading! Big sister Hoda is reading to her baby brother!

Painting is the one thing Hoda asks for everyday so I need to constantly come up with new and inventive ways to paint! We followed a Q-tip worksheet to practice some of our motor skills.

We spent some time making puffy slime and making a huge mess! I don’t think we will be revisiting that activity again.
All you need is glue, shaving cream, contact solution and food coloring.

My big boy turned 8 months old!

He also learned how to hold a bottle. Finally!

Over the weekend we started our backyard transformation. We power-washed the patio and the siding of the house. Theres a lot more power washing to do but we are getting there!

Hoda and I practiced our henna skills. There won’t be many henna appointments coming up for obvious reasons but I gotta keep up with the content. You can follow me on Instagram @hennaink.rehma or Facebook

This was definitely the highlight of our week. We went out to our neighborhood trails and wrote words of encouragement for our neighbors!

That’s a wrap on week 1! We’re just taking it one day at a time. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next week!
xoxo
