Spring Sephora Haul
Not gonna lie but I kind of went crazy at Sephora the other day for their VIB Spring sale. Sephora only has 2 sales a year so I might as well. By the way the sale only lasts until April 24 for VIB members. I basically went in for one item and came out with seven. I haven’t started using all of them yet but I’ll let ya’ll know what I liked..or not. Also just a disclaimer, I am not a make-up artist or a beauty guru, I just love make-up and sharing with my friends what I’m currently obsessed with.
Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette
AHH! This is the item I originally walked into Sephora to get. I’ve been eyeing this item as soon as it came out. I made the impulse decision of buying the Mario palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills when it came out and although I love the colors and the blendability, it’s not an everyday palette considering that all the colors are too bold. When this palette came out I was obsessed with all the pinks and neutral colors so obviously I had to get it, especially since I get to use the 15% off. I can’t wait to create some looks with this palette!
Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick ‘Muse’
THE BEST LIQUID LIPSTICKS EVER! A good friend of mine recommended the Huda Beauty liquid lipsticks way back and when I tried it I could see why she was raving about it. It’s so smooth, extremely long lasting and best of all it’s not drying whatsoever and also it smells good 🙂 I have the color ‘Trendsetter’ which I wear almost everyday and I just bought this new one in the color ‘Muse.’ It’s a light cool tone pink/purple good for everyday wear. I’m already obsessed!
The May Coop Raw Sauce is a cruelty free maple tree sap base moisturizer/primer. I got a little taste of this product when I got my make-up done at Sephora for a wedding, which by the way was so horrific, I wouldn’t recommend it. Anyways, they used it on me before applying the make up and my skin felt so soft, refreshing and almost tight. It absorbed so nicely on the skin and my foundation looked flawless on top of it. I got a travel size for $14 so I can try it out and see if I would invest in it in the future. It has a ton of good reviews on Sephora’s website so I can’t wait to see for myself.
Ok, this was a total impulse purchase. I just saw it and was mesmerized by all that glow that I had to get it haha. I’m kind of glad I did because the colors and pigments are SO beautiful and they blend so nicely on the skin. I’m loving the “Forever Lit” shade. Also it was between this and the regular ABH glow kit but the NG one has 6 shades and the other one has 4 but they were the same price so I got the NG glow kit. I would DEFINITELY recommend this if you’re looking for some highlight. Snatch it up before it goes out of stock again and if you’re a VIB member you can get 15% off until April 24.
I have tried the eye masks from Sephora’s own brand and I think it actually works. I got two face masks, the Algae face mask and the Pearl face mask and one Pearl eye mask. I plan to look like a glowing goddess after all these mask treatments haha 🙂 Plus they were only $5 each.
