Tub Drain Stopper

I just recently did a little upgrade to the hallway bathroom upstairs and dedicated it to Hoda. Now that she is potty trained, we decided she can move into her big girl bathroom!

The tub in that bathroom did not come with a stopper or it was removed before we bought the house. At first we didn’t care for it since we weren’t using that bathroom much. Now that Hoda takes her bubbles baths in there, it was time to find one. This is a total random Find of the Week product but it is so useful to us right now that I’d thought I’d share it.

I ordered the OXO TOT Tub Drain Stopper on Amazon and put it to the test immediately. The stopper is made of silicone and has a round shape. There’s a little tip that comes out of the circle and has a tiny suction cup in it. That is what you use to suction to the tub. At first I thought the entire thing was a suction but it’s not. I kept trying to push it down to suction on the tub but it wasn’t working so I thought it was a bust. Then I turned the water on and not a single drop was draining. The stopper is round and dome shaped that blocks the water from going down. I honestly did not think it was going to work so it’s safe to say I was pleasantly surprised. It can also be used in the kitchen sink so I tried it and it worked great! It was definitely worth the $8.
