Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 Picks

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! The difference between the anniversary sale and other sales is that this sale has NEW and current season products on sale. A ton of brand new items were just released and they are a fraction of the cost.

The sale is only here until August 6th and prices will go up August 7th so if you see anything you like, grab it now! There are so many things that have already gone out of stock.

If you’re contemplating whether to get something or not, GET IT! Nordstrom has free shipping and returns, so if something doesn’t work out, you can always return it. It’s better than missing out.

I spent a good chunk of yesterday browsing online, going through every item to find some great pieces. I also just got back from shopping at the store for items I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. I will blog about all the pieces I got in my next few posts with full outfit pics. For now, enjoy this list I put together of all my favorites! I will be updating items that are selling out as well as adding new items I find throughout the sale.

MY FAVORITE TOPS/DRESSES:

• The Topshop dress with bow tie sleeves is just the cutest dress ever. You can dress it up or down and is perfect for an everyday look. I posted a picture of me trying it on in the dressing room in THIS post
• The lace midi dress is beautiful and the color is to die for! I plan to wear it with a nude long sleeve undershirt some tights and nude pumps. I got the size XS
• I bought this plaid shirt online to wear anytime. I love any cotton, non see thru, full sleeve shirts to wear on the regular, especially in the blazing heat. I don’t have to layer it in the summer but in the fall I plan to wear it with the black faux leather jacket pictured next to it. Can’t wait!
• The tie back poplin shirt is so adorable. It is a perfect crisp white shirt that is not too see thru, long enough for modest dressers and the best part is that it has a a black tie knot in the back for that extra jazz!
• I love me some ruffle sleeve shirts, they go nicely with skirts or just any day fancier wear.

MY FAVORITE SWEATERS/JACKETS:

• I will be living in my adidas sweatshirt all winter long. It’s so soft and comfortable, I can’t wait!
• I’m sure you know my now through my instagram pics that I absolutely love my faux leather jacket! Fall can’t get here any sooner so I can style that.
• Another sweatshirt that is so hijabi friendly is the balloon sleeve sweatshirt dress. I mean how convenient and comfortable does that look? And it’s under $40, WIN!!
• I love anything olive colored especially for fall. There’s so much you can do with this cardigan/jacket it’s perfect.
• If you don’t want a leather jacket look, a knit black moto jacket will do.
• Peplum anything gets my attention and so does this grey peplum button down light jacket.

• I’m totally obsessed with these black flats. They have such a unique shape to it and it comes in many colors including this silver gunmetal color which is currently out of stock but can’t wait to get my hands on it as soon as it comes back! (hopefully)
• If you’re not into the whole heel bootie thing then these boots are so perfect to go with any outfit.
• Nude flats perfect for any occasion
• A perfect pair of booties for fall to wear with a nice pair of skinny jeans and maybe the plaid top?
• I absolutely love the gray stretch bootie. I need something that will fit around my ankles and not slip off so these are perfect!

MY FAVORITE BAGS:

• A black leather tote that is so soft and so lightweight perfect for any occasion like work or a day out with the fam!
• I LOVE this burnt orange/camel color tote with a the black stripe down the middle! It adds a nice touch to a big tote bag. And you can never go wrong with totes.
• Okay, how cute is that burgundy backpack? The even better part is that the handle transforms into a crossbody bag! You will definitely be seeing me sport this bag all the time! They come in different colors including teal, white and black. The teal color is do die for!
• I have a thing for camel colored bags. This tote is super adorable and has zippers on the sides to become more compact and I’m just obsessed with the color!
• The material of this bag is amazing! I love structured bags for a more sophisticated look. This bag will be perfect for work.
