Superhero Inspired Kids Bedroom

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity of giving a little boy a room makeover! He insisted on a superhero themed bedroom so I had to make it happen.

This low budget bedroom makeover turned out to be the most sophisticated 4 year old’s bedroom I’ve ever seen! Let’s walk through the process from my head to reality.

Here is the mood board for the space. The idea was to have two toned walls to make the bedroom feel a bit bigger than it is and to add an accent without it being over the top. Being the child of a teacher, we wanted to make sure his room had enough storage for all his books. Of course, we had to add in Spiderman, so we are going to add it in subtle ways like bedding and artwork.

We gave this room a top down makeover and I am happy to report the mini client was BEYOND pleased! The two toned walls made a huge difference. The design allows for easy adjustment when he grows older.
