Baked Avocado Fries

Baked Avocado Fries

Hello lovelies!

I get these random spurts of energy to try and cook something exciting every now and then or just experiment around in the kitchen like today! I was going through my pantry and taking out things I can easily cook when I saw these Panko bread crumbs just laying around and I decided I wanted to fry/bake something. I looked over and saw some avocados that are about to be too ripe so I just went ahead and made some avocado fries. I also saw some Oreo cookies sitting around but thought I’d make something healthy instead.

It was honestly so simple I will definitely be making it again. I’m all about ease and this was a piece of cake.  We always have avocados in our house so I don’t need to make special trips to the grocery store when I want to make these. All you need is some avocados, panko bread crumbs, an egg and flour.

Let me know in the comments what you think of this recipe. I would love to hear if you changed it up and how it worked for you!

Baked Avocado Fries

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe Avocados (not soft)
  • Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup flour

Directions:

Cut the avocados into 1/2 inch wedges. You should get 8-10 wedges per avocado.

Lay out your bread crumbs, flour and mixed egg into separate bowls. In the Panko bread crumbs add a few seasonings like Old Bay, chili powder, salt, garlic powder and mix together.

First, layer the avocado wedges in the flour evenly then place into the egg mixture. Finish off by dipping the avocado in the bread crumbs. Place it in a pre greased pan.

Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
