Mother’s Day Activities

Mother’s Day Activities

This year for Mother’s day while social distancing will be a bit different. There won’t be a mother’s day brunch or spa day outside the home so why not bring all the fun indoors?

Hoda is stoked to make a painting for Mother’s day and a few other activities. I’ve decided instead of trying to spend the day doing something only I will enjoy, I’ll be spending the day doing Mother’s day activities with the kids!

Here are some ideas you can do with your little one!

Mother’s Day Activities

  • Plant a Rainbow!
It’s finally getting nice outside and we have been waiting all year to plant some flowers in the yard and indoors. Plus she has a gardening tool kit that she has been dying to use. A unique twist on planting flowers is to get plantable seed paper that you just bury in the soil and water to grow.
  • DIY Flower Vases
I’ve been saving a bunch of the Starbucks glass jars that you can get at the grocery store. We took the label off and painted the glass. We also glued some glitter to give it a little sparkle. It was a fun little glitter project for both of us. I’ll be putting my Mother’s day flowers that the hubby and kids will get me in there 🙂
  • Tea Towel Hand Prints
I got a couple of tea towels from Target that we are going to paint on! You could paint hand prints on there or have them make a small painting on the corner of the towel and date it! Something we can keep forever!

Including the nap we will be taking (I will be taking) that should cover a full day of activities and fun!

To all the Mama’s, have a happy Mother’s day!
xoxo,
