My Pregnancy Must-Haves Second Time Around

My Pregnancy Must-Haves Second Time Around

They say every pregnancy is different and boy isn’t that the truth! With my first pregnancy I barely knew I was pregnant, I didn’t have a pregnancy must-have list on my radar because I basically didn’t need anything. Last time around I was more busy preparing for the baby whereas this time around I’m making sure I am comfortable being pregnant.

I compiled a list of pregnancy items that have come in handy the past 8.5 months. I have absolutely loved all of these products at different stages in the pregnancy and would highly recommend them.

Share with me in the comments what is on your list of pregnancy must haves. I’m sure other mama’s will appreciate your input!

1| PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow: I never needed a pregnancy pillow in my first pregnancy but this time around I did a ton of research to see which ones people were recommending. I needed something to support my back in the first trimester. Now the pillow is a perfect support for my growing belly and back at the same time.

2| Burts Bees 100% Natural Body Oil: I used this oil religiously during my last pregnancy all over the belly as well as after pregnancy. Because of this, I have ZERO stretch marks! One bottle goes a long way and has lasted me all 9 months plus post-partum. I use it daily after the shower. Definitely recommend it if you don’t want stretch marks.

3| Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal Multivitamin: These are the best vegetarian and Non-Gmo prenatal vitamins in capsule form that I love. I used it last time around as well. I love that they are a small capsule as opposed to a tablet which for me is hard to swallow and has no after taste. I stayed on this vitamin regimen after birth as well to help with post partum hair loss.

4| Motivational Water Bottle: This is an obvious must have! If I don’t have a water bottle then I won’t remember to drink water. This specific water bottle has timings on it so you always remember how much water you should be drinking per day.

5|Maternity Belt: Hubby got this for me for Mother’s Day. Apparently he did the most research to find the one that will provide the perfect amount of support and fit a petite frame like mine. I use this almost every day when walking for a long period of time. I use it to walk from my car to work, or when I’m shopping. I have also used it for sleeping and have slept very well when I’ve had it on. It’s like it kept the baby in one position and prevented it from stabbing me in all areas. I love it and will most likely wear it post partum to keep everything tight.

6| GRECERELLE Women’s Casual Long Sleeve Maxi Dresses: These dresses I have been living in the past 9 months! They are so inexpensive, come in many different colors and a bonus is that they are long sleeve and come with pockets! They are the most comfortable dresses I’ve worn. You can dress them up with a blazer or dress them down with jeans underneath and tie the bottom.

7| Drunk Elephant Littles: Prepping your skin for after birth was one thing I took seriously. I knew post birth I will have no time to wash my face LOL but the small efforts I took to have a skin care routine really helped in the long run. I’ve been trying a few different skincare products but the best so far has been the Drunk Elephant minis. I have been combining a few products and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft and clean.
